Magnet songs in Sønner :: August 25, 2006
Magnet's song "Grinder" plays in the trailer for Norwegian film, Sønner, so I suppose that means he has at least one song in it. Read more about Sønner at Norwegian Film Institute.

random things :: March 26, 2006
I'm not sure how I decide what to put on home of magnet or on this site, but here's some recent, random Magnet-related stuff.
There's a torrent at domeadozen.org for Magnet's performance on MPR at SXSW (thanks Honey!). If you can't register on the site, ask me and I can give you the files.
Even sings on Christine Sandtorv’s (of female pop trio, Ephemera) new album, First Last Dance, on the first track, "Ten Out Of Ten". Yes, that sentence was too long. Anyhoo, you can listen to a clip at music from norway. I’m not sure how much I like this particular song, but I love both of their voices in general.
There's a nice profile of Magnet at current.tv.
Hopefully you got to see Magnet perform while he was in the US (if you live in the US, that is). Here's a photo of Even at SXSW taken by Kristy:

We’ve just finished the new video for “Fall At Your Feet” which will be the first proper single from “The Tourniquet”. It was shot on the Devil’s Island, outside Bergen, Norway at Even’s house. It should be on your screens before the end of this month.
The single is b/w exclusive new track “This Bird Can Never Fly” which was recorded in the same sessions as the album. Lots more news to come soon, but it’s all set for a mid-November release.
Thanks for all your support. If you don’t yet own “The Tourniquet” yet, we obviously recommend you should – and you don’t even need to go to the shops. It’s right here at just £8.99: amazon.co.uk

a bunch of news :: August 24, 2005
The Tourniquet came out this week in the UK, but you probably knew that already. ;) It's doing pretty well at amazon.co.uk soooo buy it if you haven't already!
I know Magnet has a bunch of fans in the US, yes'm? The Tourniquet may not be coming out here until January. A bit far away, but that's not as bad as the gap between the release of On Your Side in Europe and the US.
There's a bunch of news at homeofmagnet.com about touring in Europe and stuff.
